Call it the "Brewster's Millions Effect," ladies and gentlemen. In that 1985 Richard Pryor movie, Brewster (played by Mr. Pryor) has to spend $30 million in 30 days in order to inherit $300 million. His benefactor's thinking is that Brewster will be so sick of spending millions by the end of the term that he'll wisely invest the real fortune.
Well, after what must have totaled 13 slices over the course of four hours on Saturday at the Best of Long Island Pizza Contestand even though much of it was deliciousI almost don't want to see or think about pizza again.
