January Tsunami Relief

In early January, this website pledged its January ad revenues toward the tsunami relief efforts. We also decided to donate an amount matching our pizza expenditures for the month. With Seltzerboy out of commission and E-Rock AWOL, Slice's pizza spending reflects only this reporter's consumption. Seltzerboy, however, has pledged a matching pizza-dollar amount toward the stricken nations. Here is a breakdown:

01/07: Tomato & Basil, $15.25
01/10: Arturo's, $17
01/11: DeMarco's, $5
01/11: Di Fara, $2.50
01/12: DeMarco's, $5
01/19: Otto, $11.33
01/30: Totonno's, $9
Jan. Ad Revenue: $24.07
S'Boy Matching: $65.08
Total: $154.23

Astute readers will notice pizzerias in that mix that we have not reviewed. Unfortunately, in the great computer meltdown of January 2005, we lost all our tasting notes and photographs of Arturo's and Otto. I guess we'll just have to go back—never a problem.

Anyway, even though the tsunami story has faded from the media, those folks could still use some aid. If you're so inspired, please see this list of reputable relief agencies, as vetted by USA Freedom Corps.
