Pizza Cone
Cone Pizza!, blogged to Slice from the Flickr photostream of superlocal
It's apparently the latest food trend to hit Seoul, South Korea.
I'm still waiting for it to hit the States. If only I had some dinero to start a franchise!

Aw, it's already been done. Pizza in a cup from The Jerk starring Steve Martin. Looked GREAT to me. Biggles
Slice Dr. Biggles at 11:34PM on 06/07/06
will, deb, why do think it'll be awful? don't people often fold their pizzas before chomping into them anyway?

Saw it and tried it at the Pizza Expo in Atlantic City. Not bad at all. They say it's great for kids because the filling doesn't fall out like it does w/ice cream cones.

i understand the critics who may feel that this is an "abomination". ironically, the first company to do this, Kono Pizza i think, is italian.

I'd like to share some information about expanding a cone pizza concept around the globe. Does it mean that pizza in a cone becomes as popular as a hamburger?.. Here is the examples: Russia: www.pasta-la-vista.com or http://i-food.livejournal.com/ Greece: www.pizzacon.gr Korea: www.сonepizza.co.kr USA: www.crispycones.com Italy, number of countries in EU, New Zealand, Arabian Emirates, Russia, Japan: www.konopizza.com India: www.pizzacorner.com (pizza-Conizza) Austria:www.finestfingerfood.com

Dear slices
the pizza in a cone concept was first developed, trademarked, registered in the US by Nir Adar. The concept is over 4 years old and you could see the results on www.crispycones.com as well as on conopizza.com and pizzacono.com
the cones will be coming to your area soon enough, no need to go to Korea.
niradar at 11:41PM on 07/11/07
Niradar: I can't wait till it comes to NYC. Please put a Crispy Cones here ASAP. I've been dying to get my hands on one of these.
