Turn Here: Fun Pizza Videos

Just saw Boing Boing mention Turn Here, a video site that features fun footage of places (hopefully) near you. And you and you and you and you. We did a search for pizza and found a couple neat shorts starring competitive eater Crazy Legs Conti. In Part 1, Mr. Conti visits Koronet Pizza in Manhattan's Morningside Heights neighborhood and Pizza Gruppo in the borough's East Village. Both choices make sense, given his eating feats. Koronet's slices are known for their HUGEness (as big as your head) and Gruppo is so thin that you could eat tons of it before feeling all that full

In Part 2, Mr. Conti visits Patsy's in East Harlem, which is, he says, "My favorite and perhaps the best pizza in New York."

Turn Here seems kinda neat. We'll look for more pizza video in the future. My only complaint about the site is that the "Put Film on Your Site" link only gives you the permalink for the film and not an embeddable version of it a la YouTube or Google Video. So click the links below to view.

Patsy's - eh. Overpriced and burnt based on my experience. There's a great pizza place on 2nd and 116 - don't even know the name of it but they have an open-air window for orders - delicious 'zza!

Yeah. Patsy's has been taking it on the nose lately in teh comments. Last few times I've been there, sorry to report, it's been unforgivably soggy.

When I was growing up the best pizza was Little Italy in Pottstown, PA
