I'm heading over to the Javits Center, a big-ass convention center in Manhattan, to serve as a pizza judge in PMQ magazine's "America's Plate Competition," a pizza-off among several international pizzaioliamong others, contenders will include Americans, Chinese, Canadians, Luxembourgers, Italians, and Aussies (who, oddly enough, are the defending champs two years running).
The contest is part of the New York Pizza Show, which has been going on since Sunday and ends today. While I'm there, I hope to get some pix, see some pizza sights, and possibly blog about it if there's wifi in there. (I'm assuming there's wifi in therewhat convention center in 2007 wouldn't have wireless access throughout, right?)
Madness is sure to come. If you don't hear from me throughout the day with updates, I'm either dead or arrested.
