I've been wanting to make Slice T-shirts for, like, forever. I've finally put rubber to road and have sourced a printer and blah blah blah. Here they are.
I'm taking orders on these up to May 9, at which point I'll give the printer the go-ahead to make the batch of shirts. After May 9, they'll be unavailable. For those who do order, figure 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Delayed gratification, peopleāit's underrated. Anyway, the deets are below.
UPDATE: No longer taking orders. If you want one, you'll have to wait until I order more. Send me an email if you'd like to be in the next batch of orders.
T-Shirt Styles
The Official Slice T-Shirt will be printed on American Apparel T's in the following styles, your choice. Please make sure you know your AA size, as they seem to have changed recently.
Colors
Available in Heather Grey or White. Your choice.
Ordering No longer taking orders. I'm taking orders via PayPal only. Please indicate quantity, style, size, and color in the field below, and press the button. You don't need a PayPal account to order. (Note: If you want more than one shirt, be sure to specify your style/size/color info for each shirt in the "Optional Instructions" field on the order page.)
Frank: Sorry. Offering it in black would mean having to set up a second set of screens at the printer (to reverse the black "I NY" type to white). Maybe in the future.
You DO realize that you could've invited people all over the web to help design a pizza/NYC tee-shirt and you would've gotten major news coverage and traffic for that, right? that's what i do for a living. anyway, good luck. (these tees are frankly really boring, but i love the site nonetheless.)
Thanks, Tim. Happy to make you yawn with my shoddy design. Maybe I'll open up the next Slice/pizza tee to open-source design, but I wanted to make this one first. The point wasn't to make a superbadass designer T but to riff on the ubiquitous I [heart] NY shirt. If that's tired, then I'm fine with it.
Adam, You might consider switching to cafepress.com (shameless plug here for the montrealfood.com store) . . . they do black T-shirts and you can order one-offs of anything and make your own markup. But perhaps it's better to support your local printer!
