Pauper: Obviously I'm not in agreement with the original poster, as I myself am a "Di Fara tourist" by his or her standards. Were I in agreement, I could only eat within my own neighborhood at home or within a small radius of my office. I do understand the original poster's frustration, however, but limiting Dom's pies to Midwood residents would be a travesty.

Pauper: Moreover, I don't think the original poster meant "tourists" in the classic sense, i.e., non-New Yorkers. I believe s/he meant anyone from outside Midwood. While I don't believe that tourists "ruin" New York City, they're definitely a pain in the ass in all the usual tourist haunts Times Square, Rock Center, SoHo, etc.

Why don't you invite this anonymous idiot back and let him or her clarify what he/she meant by "tourist"? What makes you think the original poster didn't mean tourist in the classic sense? Bring 'em back -- I wanna go at 'em.
