Domino's Oreo Dessert Pizza

We just had the Domino's Oreo Dessert Pizza delivered here at the office. It's about as good as you think it would be. (How's that for damning something with faint praise?)

The base layer is a thin crust that would be reminiscent of graham cracker if it weren't so bland, topped by a vanilla icing, with some Oreo crumbles applied atop in a swirled pattern.

This 10-inch dessert pizza is $3.99 with any purchase, but it would be an unthinkable order addition even at $0.00.

I saw the commercial for it last night, and it looked totally gross. Apparently it tastes as good as it looks!!!!

Haha, good to see the disgust of reputed specialists well-represented!

My teeth started hurting immediately after reading the heading for this article...UGH!

Did you grow one a full oreo beard like the guy in the ad? It was funny the first time, kinda sick the second time I saw it.

No. I was worried about Oreo crap sticking to my face, and it did, though the video was pixelated enough here that you couldn't see it as clearly as I feared.

Yeah, I didn't watch the video until after I posted my poorly edited comment (grow one?). And BTW, tell Ed that most people eat Oreos FOR the filling. The cookie parts are superfluous.

I'm so glad you guys did this. Every time we watch the commercial, my husband and I say, "Boy, that looks disgusting!" Hope you didn't feel ill afterward.

I don't think I had enough of the thing to get sick from it, though I did have a stomach ache later. Not sure if it was from the actual pizza that I had to order to get the dessert pie or if it was from something else I ate over the course of the day.

I don't care how bad it is, I just love the freaky-lookin' commercial.

I'm disappointed to hear it's so terrible, though. I have a soft spot for Dominos, given that you don't encounter much good pizza growing up in Chicago's northern suburbs...ah well. Maybe I'll just make one of these.

I don't know. The commercial grosses me out, too.

I was more a Pizza Hut fan during my KC-suburban childhood, but our family always got pizza from Little Caesar's once one opened in town. In the pizza-starved 'burbs, cheap trumps flavor every time.

Oh eww, that's the most creepy 'pizza' I've seen in my life! But i am somewhat tempted to take a bite..out of sheer curiousity!
p.s.
It's Robyn's friend, Kathy :)

As a Domino's employee, I must say, it's not THAT bad. Yes, they could have done better... but still it's better than their stupid brownies were.

The trick is to cook it longer, put less pudding on it, and more icing. Yum!

What hath God wrought?

Wait a minute...I actually LIKE the Domino brownies!
