A proposal seeks to make the late-night streets safer by forcing a pizzeria to close at 2 a.m.: "Closing the parlors at 2 a.m. or earlier could curb violence and public drunkenness and reduce litter from pizza boxes and plates, Central Station police Capt. law of unintended consequences + supply and demand says alcheys get their grub on somewhere else at 2am instead and still make a mess. what a stoooooopid proposal.

they should just stop beating around the bush, and just impose a sundown curfew and daily liquor ration.
