Drew Carey Orders 45 Pizzas Shipped Cross-Country

Guess California pizza just doesn't cut it for Drew Carey: the comedian loves the pizzas from Antonio's in Parma, Ohio, so much that he's having 45 pies delivered by UPS all the way to Los Angeles to celebrate the season finale of his CBS game show, The Price is Right. The order is a pricey $450, not including shipping. Talk about pizza loyalty...

Even before shipping, that's only $10 a pie.

I like to get Lou Malnati's shipped down here to Houston. It's $30 a pizza but it's worth it.

I've been meaning to try Antonio's, but have been hesitant to after I heard some things (not illegal or health department related stuff) from someone who worked there. This article is quite impressive though. I'll have to check them out. One problem - I don't like pizza.

@Cassaendra: You don't like what now?

On a side note, it's no surprise Drew Carey is loyal to an Ohio pizzeria -- they have more pizzerias per capita than any other state (according to the Food Network). There's bound to be a couple of decent places -- although now that I think about it, the year I spent in Canton didn't leave me with a great impression of pizza in the Buckeye state. And I'm sure with a fat contract for PIR, Drew can swing a few bucks for pie.
