99-Cent Fresh Pizza Line

Check out the line at 99¢ Fresh Pizza. Zach Brooks of Midtown Lunch (and Serious Eats New York editor) captured this scene last Wednesday. That line's on par with Di Fara, though I doubt the place is as good.

There is a special place in my heart for 99cent pizza. And in these tough economic times, sometimes quantity wins out over quality. To put it another way- for the price of one slice at DiFara you can get more than half a pie at 99 Cent Fresh Pizza!

There's a deli just around the corner on 3rd ave between 43rd and 44th that also sells 99c slices

@LucaL: You mean this deli? ;)

yeah, it's often undercooked, but if you ask for it well done, you'll still be out quicker than waiting in that line
