I don't have to hope that Motorino will eventually launch itself into the upper strata of the city’s pizzerias. In my mind, it's mission accomplished. My son returned from school in Colorado on 12/15 and we headed right from LGA to Motorino. Thanks to a vacationing Anthony Mangieri and a tiny lobby jammed with people at Co., my son's last meal for his break was served up in the same place his first meal was enjoyed. The Brussel Sprout and Speck pie was outstanding the night he arrived home. However, tonight it was even better. I don't know what Mathieu is doing with his dough, but the quality of his crust had me greener than the brussel sprouts on my pie. I can't quite find the words to describe it, so I recommend you check it out for yourself.
