Domino's Oven Baked Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich: No Cheese, No Steak, Lots of Bread
As promised yesterday, some intel on the new(ish) Domino's Oven Baked Sandwich.
At $8.99 for sandwich and 10-inch one-topping pizza, it was the cheapest thing I could order on the menu and still get a pizza box to take pictures of. And I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone, finally trying the Domino's sandwich line.

Looks like a decent-size sandwich, with some toasty color on the bun. It did look a little shiny and compact—as if it had been brushed with oil and placed briefly in some sort of press. However, I doubt this was the case. I think it's just a very oily dough with a very open hole structure that is smushed easily under the weight of a knife.
Whoa! Is this amount of coverage worth $4.99?
So the title of this post might have been a bit of an exaggeration. But not my much. Look! There's hardly anything on it.
For the record, on the website the Philly Cheesesteak comes with steak, American and provolone, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Dropdowns default to "Normal," which is what I ordered. I opted out of mushrooms and American cheese.
Conclusion: Set all applicable dropdowns to "Extra" The "Normal" amount might as well be "Light" in anyone else's world but Domino's.
