DUMBO Worst Neighborhood for Slice Pizza? Discuss

20090109-dumbo.jpg

Are there any good slice joints in DUMBO?

4 Comments:

as the question poser, i'll say no. grimaldi's doesn't sell by the slice and front street pizza sucks. i don't know of any other slice places for pizza in the 'hood.

DUMBO is a pretty small neighborhood so I'm not really surprised.

Central Harlem has a population of 100,000 people (more than DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, Fort Greene, and Clinton Hill put together) and it has no good pizza. I think it's the 'hood most lacking.

I worked in 70 Washington years ago before it was converted and personally enjoyed Front St Pizza for a slice.. and on a regular basis.

I live in Sunnyside, Queens, and unless I am missing something, there is really a dearth of quality slices there.
