Openings: Emporio, SoHo

Of this Roman-inspired trattoria New York magazine says, "... there’s pizza from a wood-burning brick oven, with toppings like guanciale, Tuscan kale, and pecorino cream." Emporio: 231 Mott Street, New York NY 10012 (b/n Prince and Spring streets; map); 212-966-1234

All these new pizza places in NYC, it's like some kind of renaissance of all things tomato, cheese and dough. My pizza list is a long one and they keep opening faster than I can eat at all of them.

yes brian i agree. luckily i am part savage and actually go to some back to back. it's a disgusting habit. ha ha. yeah i know every 5 minutes a new one opens up.

Thst sounds like a very good idea for a pie.

@Slicemeister I believe that address qualifies as Nolita, not Soho. At least in this century.
