Congratulations Are in Order

Congrats to Second Lieutenant Michael Giannone, who graduated from the Air Force Academy yesterday. Giannone is Paulie Gee's kid—and as a way of celebrating, the father and son are touching down in Phoenix today for a visit to Pizzeria Bianco. Good luck in that line, Gee-men. We expect a full photo report via Flickr very soon.

Both Michael and I thank you. Today was a great day in our family's life. Just for the record, the graduation was today and Bianco is tomorrow. Pictures will be posted after we return fron Vegas next week.

Thanks again,

2nd Lt Mikie Gee and Proud Poppa Paulie Gee

D'oh! Well, good luck with the line. Did you ever manage to get a reservation time?

No reservation time, but we'll be sure to be there early enough to be first on line. Maybe we'll corner Chris while he's out picking herbs.

Thanks again,

Paulie Gee

Things are looking very good for our Bianco pilgrimage tomorrow. We just finished a celebratory dinner st PF Chang and my fortune cookie contained the following message:

You are about to embark on a most delightful journey!

Ciao,

Paulie Gee

It was indeed a very delightful journey. Face time with the man, 3 great pizzas with a half of each of his 6 pies and the most gracious staff you'll find anywhere. My only regret is that I couldn't see the place at night. I'll just have to go back.

@Slicemeister In n Out and Bianco in one day. You need to plan a trip to PHX.

Ciao,

Paulie Gee

Congratulations to your son and no doubt Dad also!

Very glad to hear you both had a wonderful time.

@robert40 Thanks. Wednesday's teary graduation ceremony was impossible to top, but our visit to Bianco came pretty close. We got the opportunity to to sit for a while in Bar Bianco with Chris and hear from a man who has pizza running through his veins and enjoys talking about it immensely. You know you've had a great few days when Vegas is a letdown. For a little more on our Bianco visit, jump on over to the "Fat-Guy.com Pizza Guide Republished" comments.

Ciao,

Paulie Gee

Paulie,
Your photos on flickr had me drooling.
Chris looks like a mad scientist, and I know he really is one!
I couldn't do the 4 hr wait when we visited, so we turned back.
Next time I will tough it out.

Stacey
