Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan in Kevin Smith's 'A Couple of Dicks' at L&B Spumoni Gardens

Albert Grande mentioned last week that his pizza tour was canceled because one of the stops—L&B Spumoni Gardens—was closed for a movie shoot.

Here's a photo from the shoot, courtesy of NBC Universal's Recent Postings blog.

The movie is called A Couple of Dicks—"dicks" as in detectives, I'm guessing. (And, who knows, maybe both their names are Dick, too.)

The director is Kevin Smith, and, according to IMDB, it's "a comedy about two cops whose adventures include locating a stolen baseball card, rescuing a woman, and dealing with gangsters and their laundered money."

I want to see this movie, I want to try this pizza.

I was there this afternoon.Got a corner square.A corner has crust on 2 sides.Make sure you at least get an edge square otherwise no crust.
Even without the crust,a bite of 1 of their squares is a bite of ambrosia.
The sauce (or gravy, depending on where you're from) alone is 50% of the experience.
Then ,the soft ,flaky dough that rests on the crunchy bottom crust.
This is a multi layered experience.
2 other Favorites of mine for "Round Pies" in Bklyn are Pinos on Bath Ave. & Krispy Pizzeria on 13th Ave & 71st.
