Photo of the Day: Big Pizza, Little Kid

20090806-big-pizza-little-kid.jpg

From the blog Home & Season:

We headed home, then ordered in some pizza, from Big Lou’s….OMG this is the pizza to die for…absolutely delicious. Everything is made from scratch. We’ve met the owner, he’s a down to earth guy. The biggest pizza you can order is 42″…I’m not kidding. Then you have to pay $5.00 extra for the box, oh and you need a truck or a van to fit the pizza if you’re ordering out! And you must have a big crowd to feed or you’ll be having pizza for the next two days! Here’s a pic of one of the many times we’ve ordered from Big Lou’s. Thats little Solomon. My family was in town that weekend.

Almost impossible to finish, really. They have a contest with their 30" now and then for 4 people to eat it --- only about 15% complete it.

Don't mess with texas, I guess.

Ya, I heard they came out with a 42" "Anal-Retentive" Pizza Cutter too. All for the low low price of $3,000!...But wait...Theres more... Call within the next 15 minutes and they'll throw in an apron signed by Adam Kuban ABSOLUTELY FREE!....thats right...Ab-so-lutely free.

Haha sorry I laugh at my own jokes,
Alberto

That's the dimensional opposite of the Jamba flatbread from yesterday. How many calories in that bad boy?

Was this the pizza on this week's Man vs Food?

@pastry262 - Yes--it's from the same place; Big Lou's in San Antonio. As much as I love pizza though, the first thing I'm heading for next time I'm in San Antonio is Lulu's for that 4 lb cinnamon roll--it looked amazing.
