The Most Awesome Recycling Bundle EVER

OK, the above pile of discarded, greasy pizza boxes would be nothing special in New Haven, but I have to admit I had a strange pizza daydream as I was downloading slices from them into freezer bags for storage in my Brooklyn home.

As I said to Girl Slice: "Do you know that if a pizza connoisseur walked by this pile on recycling day, he or she WOULD FREAK? This is like if you put out empty boxes for Xbox, Wii, and PlayStation on the same day. Like the day after Christmas. But greasier."

Girl Slice's response: a rollin' of the eyes.

Hey, I saw a Modern box in the dumpster at my apartment complex a few weeks ago. I live up in Hartford. Actually took a pic on my phone but it came out too blurry to send in :P

If I saw this in my neighborhood. I would definitely 1.) fall in love 2.) Take a pic, 3.) write a missed connection for the person at that address. ha ha ha.

@Pizzalicious Your id should be PizzaDreamGirl.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a Frank Pepe box in the recyling on my floor in my apt building a few weeks ago. Glad to know there are other pizza fans around me.

Seeing those Pepe's boxes reminds me that the Yonkers Pepe's opened a few weeks ago. Has anyone been?
