When I opened my inbox tonight and saw this Google alert (it searches for instances of "pizza" in the news), I got really excited. What they hell could a "pizza bowl" be, and when did Little Caesar's come up with this crazy-sounding new product?

And then ... oh. It's a college bowl game. I don't really watch college football, so I had no idea the Motor City Bowl had been renamed in honor of the new sponsor. I guess it's still a Michigan-based sponsor, but it's kind of sad that Detroit's great nickname has been removed now that the Big Three automakers no longer sponsor it.
