Um. I don't even know what to say. Foolish Poolish sent this one in and I hope he doesn't mind that I'm dubbing it "Foolish Poolish's Forager's Pizza." The guy went a harvestin' some wild mushrooms and garlic for this pizza. How awesome is that?!? Here's what he says:

I realise that chasing the "Neapolitan/artisanal" ideal can be a bit blinding sometimes with all those expensive imported ingredients, etc. Anyway, I ran out of "00" flour last week, so I wasn't really concentrating on my usual dough shenanigans but rather flying by the seat of my peel.

A quick forage in nearby woods turned up some great mushrooms as well as the last of the wild garlic, which were quickly put to use on a pie.

Toppings were wild garlic, oyster mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, and smoked pancetta (the only concession to imported ingredients).

I love how FP was able to gather some items here on the cheap — items that in a fancy food store and likely marked with the label foraged would probably have fetched a pretty penny. Nice.
Also a reminder — if you don't know what you're doing when it comes to harvesting wild mushrooms, look for a class in your area. We don't want any Slice'rs out there eating a poison pie. ;)
Thanks for the submission, FP!
