Dude. That's funny. Because STAR was where I WANTED to go. I had the Zipcar out for wedding errands up in the Hudson Valley and figured I might as well hit some NJ pizza while I had the car. I was trying to remember the name of tavern that Slice'rs recommended as having better bar pizza than Colony Grill in Stamford CT (serves me right for not having my Slice notebook on me). And for some reason "Reservoir" came to mind. So I punched it into the iPhone and went.

When the pizza came out, I was like, "THIS IS NOT BAR PIZZA!"

And then I remembered .... STAR TAVERN. Dammit!

I'm totally happy with Reservoir and glad I visited. Just that it's always a loop when you're expecting one thing and another thing gets plopped down before you.

I suppose I could have hit up Orange NJ on the way home from Boonton, but there are only so many pizzerias I can drag Girl Slice to in a single day — namely one pizzeria. :(

Yes. Star is totally on my list. I'll give you a shout when I go. Thanks for the nudge.
