Legendary Brooklyn pizzeria Di Fara is now taking orders via Facebook.

Can we place orders via facebook???

To which the Di Fara page improbably answers:

I do not mind at all allowing orders to be placed via facebook. the only issue is I only check in to facebook a certain time of day and if its not placed within that window of time, I may miss it ...happens often ! if you know a day or two in advance that you intend to come in, that is always helpful ...

In a later post, Margy De Marco Mieles, who runs the page, says, "In the future if you want to place an order via facebook , its best to post in the morning or night before"

WTH?!? I never thought I'd see the day. Of course, I suppose less savory characters out there could monitor the Di Fara page and go claim a pie under false pretenses.
