Fort Wayne, Indiana's 800 Degrees

And it's unofficially Indiana Day today on Slice! (See Daniel Zemans' post on Indianapolis's Napolese.) Earlier today I got a nice email from John Hartman, a videographer with WISE-TV, the NBC affiliate based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. John hips us this video profile of 800 Degrees, a newish wood-oven pizzeria in Fort Wayne.

I just wanted to pass it along to you, so you could see a guy who is doing pizza right. Everything from local meats, making his own sausage, flour from Italy, and craft beers, the guy serves it up with love.... it's an amazing joint.

Above is the third of three segments on 800 Degrees that John shot for WISE's show INsight. (Here are parts 1 and 2.) Note how chef-partner Matt Rogers references the concept of "leopard spotting."
