While we think mom-and-pop shops make the best pizza in the nation, we'd be remiss if we didn't keep abreast of what the chains are up to. Suit up, it's time for another Chain Reaction, folks.

On Wednesday we saw the Domino's 4/20 Groupon deal that offered a 10-topping pizza for just $8. Great way to celebrate the day, right? Unfortunately the Groupon was only redeemable after the stoner holiday. OK. Whatever that gave us time to poll our Facebook Likees as to what we should top with.

And ... and ... Y'all are just cruel. This is what you stuck us with?!?

  1. Salami
  2. jalapeƱos
  3. roasted red peppers
  4. bacon
  5. onion
  6. Italian sausage
  7. olives
  8. Philly steak
  9. banana peppers
  10. mushrooms

Not cool, Slice'rs. Not cool. But ... we knew you'd try to gross us out.

Of course Robyn was there to take a photo of me at first bite.

Sad Adam. ...SAdam.

"You look sad," she said.

"I am sad. This is about seven toppings too many."

But wait ... it actually sort of works.

"It completely obscures how bad the other elements are," said one SE'r, who will remain anonymous, in reference to the crust and sauce. "So maybe this turns out to be a genius move."

Another eater asked, "Do you really think it's '10 toppings?'" I mean, are you getting as much pepperoni as you'd get if you had ordered a plain pepperoni pizza?"

Probably not, but to be fair, the toppings were well distributed; there seemed to be a scattering of each one on every slice. Our favorite toppings were the remarkably crisp bacon and spicy jalapeƱos; our least favorite was a tie between the pellets of sausage and the soggy salami which lurked under the cheese.

We ordered it on the deep dish crust. We figured it would stand up to the toppage.

"It's kind of like a casserole": Can you guess who said that?
