Abbot's Pizza is famous for its bagel crust. No, it's not a bagel pizza. It's a regular pie with a dense and chewy outer crust resembling a bagel, complete with a coat of poppy or sesame seeds. The wafer crisp undercrust, though a little bland, provides robust support for the phenomenal toppings.

The Five Onion ($3.65) slice sounds unassuming, but this olive pesto-based slice is a powerhouse of flavor. Topped with a blend of leeks, shallots, red, green, and yellow onions, this slice offers a dynamic mix of savory crunch and soft spice with a hint of caramelization. It's finished with an ample bed of melted Fontina, mozzarella and Romano cheeses.

At the end you're left with the 'bagel'—a dry chewtoy of a crust. Redeem it with Abbot's unusual dipping sauces. They offer a variety of sauces from marinara to spicy mustard to chili-mayonnaise, but lack the most obvious choice: cream cheese.
