Remember when Adam announced the date for our pal Scott Wiener's (of Scott's Pizza Tours) annual charity event Slice Out Hunger? It's happening this Thursday, June 9, and it's going to be awesome!

Scott already has 150 pies lined up from the best pizzerias in NYC, including Grimaldi's, Lombardi's, Keste, NY Pizza Suprema, John's, Joe's, Di Fara, Luzzo's, Tosca, Ray's, Artichoke, Slice the Perfect Food, Pizza Roma, and more. What better opportunity is there to try some of the city's best pizzas in one place?!

As if the pizza weren't incentive enough, there are some truly great raffle prizes like Pizza a Casa pizza classes, a spot on Scott's Pizza Tours and Chicago Pizza Tours, pizza T-shirts, and a very special surprize from our own Adam Kuban. Don't ask me to say more. Maybe he'll give us a hint himself.

As Scott said, "It's going to be pizza madnness!" If you want to get involved, they could still use some volunteers to pick up pizzas around town. There is a "contact" link on the Slice Out Hunger site if you want to pitch in.

$1 tickets are sold at the door (Amity Hall, 80 West 3rd Street); one ticket will buy you a slice, a soda, or a raffle ticket. The event begins at 6:30pm and runs until 10pm. Get there early to get your slice on!
