Okay, I'll admit that introducing People's Pizza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with their Cheesesteak Hoagie Slice was a little over the top. So let's give People's another shot, this time with a more approachable and decidedly summery slice. This Arugula and Tomato Slice ($3) is the antithesis of our previous offering—super thin, crisp crust topped with oven roasted cherry tomatoes, fresh baby arugula, mild fresh mozzarella, and a sprinkling of Parmesan. With just a few minutes in the oven the tomatoes have a chance to cook down ever so slightly, releasing some of their sweet juices, the arugula wilts a bit, the mozz heats up just enough to go from chewy sphere to melty blob. It's all about fresh, bright flavors, for that hot summer kind of day when you're not sure if you'd rather have a slice or a caprese salad.
