Jamesws' Flat Bread
"This was a "flat bread" I made over the weekend. It had fresh herbs and sliced tomatoes and I topped it with Parmesan after it came out of the oven and drizzled with garlic oil."Jamesws
Scalloped Potato Sicilian by Ev
Scalloped Potato Sicilian by Ev
"Sicilian with scalloped potatoes, white cheddar, and sauteed sweet Vidalia onions. I usually include bacon, but I was all out. Baked in my electric kitchen oven at 450° F. 570g Peter Rienhart NY-style dough in a 12X12 steel pan. Par-baked about 5 minutes with a little pizza sauce, then another 10-12 with all the toppings. I've made this before using the same amount of dough in a 14" round pan, which results in a thinner crust."Ev
Norma427's Wheat Berry Harvest Pie
Norma427's Wheat Berry Harvest Pie
"I obtained fresh wheat berries from a farmer near where I live, just cut from the fields. I used some of the wheat berries to first make a starter, then sprouted some of the wheat berries, dried them, ground them, and utilized the ground wheat berries like Diastatic Malt Powder (because that is what spouted wheat is). This was a fresh-from-the-farm pizza! If you are interested, this is the link to the whole process of finding the wheat berries, making the starter, spouting the wheat berries, and finally making the pizzas."Norma427

"Using leftovers in the fridge (including a 10-day old dough), I made this pie using 1/2 pound ground sirloin, bacon, onions, and oregano covered with cheddar cheese, scant sauce, and blobs of ketchup (which thickened nicely in the baking).  Fresh mozzarella balls on top.  Purists may scoff, but it was delicious!"SlideSF
