Clockwise from the top left; Margherita, white with homemade pickled hots, the Black & White*, and goat cheese and squash blossoms from Nichol's Farm. (*This was inspired by Pizzeria Oceano's 'Black & White'. I used a double cream soft ripened cheese with lots of fresh black pepper)." jamesws

"Sometimes you can’t beat a good sausage and pepper pie! The sausage was homemade using a Sicilian recipe I recently acquired. It was made with pork belly and shoulder, fennel seeds, garlic, chili flakes, orange peel and grape must (not easy to find in KS). The rest of the toppings were garden peppers, a tomato paste based sauce, fennel fronds, and mozz/Pecorino mix. The crust was made from King Arthur Bread Flour with a 68% hydration; 24hr cold rise; stone baked at 550F." jimmyg

"This is a marinara pie I made tonight inspired by your Forcella review. The dough is A16's recipe with 00 flour and is my new favorite. The sauce is from some tomatoes I picked up at the farmers market. I threw on some fresh oregano from my neighbor's backyard, sliced some garlic, sprinkled some kosher salt, and drizzled some olive oil on top. That's it. Cooked it at 550 on convection roast in a conventional oven on a stone on the lowest rack. Simple, fresh and delicious. I'll add this one to my rotation." DYJ

"This was my first attempt at a clam pizza. The crust was really thin and crispy. But I can’t say that I actually like clams on pizza. I think seafood has its place but I am not sure if pizza is the right place. (Editor's note: See Talk.) This one had clams, red and green peppers, bacon, onions and mozzarella." thearrogantchef
