If you're in NYC and still searching for the perfect way to celebrate National Pizza Month, then check out these upcoming events hosted by our man Scott Wiener.

He is adding some extra pizza safaris to his usual tour lineup, including a Gluten Free tour (10/15) and a Meat Lovers tour (10/29). For every person who signs up for a public tour in October, Scott is donating $1 to the Karen Mullen Breast Cancer Foundation. Below is the description from his website.

October Specialty Pizza Safaris:
Saturday bus adventures around the city, each tour includes a slice at each of our 4 stops and Pizza Tour Survival Kits for everyone. We'll check out kitchens, speak with owners and pizzaioli, talk about pizza, etc. Gluten Free tour on Oct 15, Meat Lovers tour on Oct 29.

Tickets available here.

In addition, much like the recent tomato class, Scott will be conducting a 3-Part Pizza History Class at Brooklyn Brainery. Here are the deets from Scott:

We'll trace pizza history and development over 3 2-hour sessions on Wednesdays in mid-October (10/12, 10/19, 10/26). Pizza that represents the day's discussion will be provided at every class. Total cost for the whole shebang is $50.
