I've shared my opinion on pizza toppings here already but the real question is, what does resident tasting expert and Serious Eats Puppy-At-Large Hambone like on his pies?
We let him loose on three options from our leftovers pile from Frank Pepe Pizza Napoletana after our New Haven pizza adventure: a plain mozzarella pie, a sausage pie (featuring sausage from Lamberti's), and their famous clam pie.
