My Pie Monday: Porchetta, Cherries, Turnips, and More!

My Pie Monday is finally here! And it seems as though summer is as well by the looks of the variety of produce cropping up on these pies. This week, scapes make a repeat performance on pizzas by Girl Loves Pizza and Bierebeer. Mint gets in the mix on both BKMatt's pie (wait until you see the curl of the porchetta slices) and Dhorst's smoky, sweet, savory, and spicy cherry topped pie. TXCraig1 continues to add aleppo to his sauce this week, in a pie which is a deluxe homage to Slice's number one aleppo advocate, Dhorst. Amusebouche1 keeps it gourmet with the Cyprus GroveTruffle Tremor Chevre, thearrogantchef worked with a new dough for his veggie pizza, and Malanga shares a NY pizza success story. There's a freestyle vacation pizza from livefreeorpie, and though Norma and Jimmyg continued their measured work on the soaker doughs, Norma sends in some dessert pies to mix it up. Last but not least, Damian has a marinara in the mix (one that I actually got to try and it was deeee-licious. I was thinking of you all!).
