"I generally keep my pies simple, I'm a classic dough, sauce, cheese kinda guy in the NY style. This is exotic for me, a three cheese blend which included Sorrento dry mozzarella, Aurricho provolone and some Bel Gioso Kasseri cheese. The sauce was lightly spiced Sclafani crushed tomatoes (still the best!) and the base was a well-aged cold fermented lean dough.  I'll take my eggs for breakfast, my salad on the side and my meat off the grill! 8 minutes in a 550 degree oven with stone is the "sweet spot" for my oven. How did it taste? Wouldn't you like to know!" dmcavanagh

"This is a gourmet onion ring, veggie pizza, with onion, green pepper, mushroom, broccoli, pesto and four cheese topping. It was delicious. The onions are first soaked in buttermilk and spiced, then lightly battered and deep fried. They turned out to be a great topping for this veggie pizza.
