"Someone really wanted me to make him a pizza with hotdogs stuffed into the crust, so I did. It was more challenging than I thought it would be when I agreed to do it. Among other things, I hadn't considered the handling difficulties that the extra perimeter weight would cause. And, with the roughly 3.5 minute bake time, we decided to preheat the dogs, which made the dough sticky. The result was way better than I expected—at least for the couple of bites I had. It would satiate most people pretty quickly." f r y

"Topped with mozzarella, dried cherries plumped in brandy for a couple hours, hot fennel sausage, red pepper flakes, and a healthy drizzle of local wildflower honey post-bake. SD crust, 910F/60 seconds. Sweet, spicy, and an incredible floral aroma and flavor, this was the favorite pie of the evening. The dried cherry infused brandy wasn’t half bad either… ;)" TXCraig1

"Made a double batch of dough last time and froze half. This is from the frozen half (KASL + Starter, 60%). I didn't notice any huge differences between frozen vs. never frozen. It's not something I'll do often but it's good to know it's an option. Olive oil, mini heirlooms, red and orange peppers, Manchego cheese, basil and thyme." billgraney

"The Sicilian pizza that was made this week had a better bottom crust with even browning and a better crispness. The edges also have that delicious taste from the cheese melting down the sides of the pan during the bake. The Sicilian pizza was very light in the crumb. I sprinkled grated Parmigiano Reggiano and Romano cheese under the sauce for a different flavor. "Decent looking pie don't you think? Well, it's made with a frozen dough ball. The fresh mozzarella was terrible. I cooked this on a pizza stone in my gas grill. The bottom is as BLACK as coal. Had to scrape the sauce and cheese off to have something to eat. Just it's back to the drawing board on my pizza grilling adventures. Oh @Norma, it was a Pepe's dough!" dmcavanagh
