My Pie Monday: Peperonata, Caul-eppo, Onion Marmalade, and More!

We just might have to change My Pie Monday to My Aleppo Pie Monday. The trend continues to gain momentum among Slice'rs this week with aleppo spiced pies from Jimmyg, Atmast, and Imwalkin. Go Aleppo! Of the non-chili pies, we have a Philadelphia pizzeria inspired pie from unpocojmoney and a homemade version of the "Date, Blue Cheese, and Caramelized Onion" pizza from Street in LA by redwgn67. Also among the restaurant-inspired pies, we have two Papa Gino's pizzas from Norma (though I think her's probably beat the pants on the ones form the Massachusetts chain). Glutenboy sends in a sausage and mushroom pie, there's an extra cheese from Ev, and a WFO onion marmalade and goat cheese gouda from PizzaPartito. Amusebouche1 takes a note from Jim Lahey with his striking purple potato topped pie, and TXCraig1 sends one of favored bird's nest pies that looks too pretty eat. Finally, a warm welcome to Greg Protocol who has a kale, garlic scape, and ricotta topped garden pizza.

To add your pie to next Monday's gallery take a snapshot of a pie you made recently, describe your cooking method (in 80 words or fewer), and follow these instructions to get it to Slice HQ by Thursday at 8PM EST. Be sure to let us know your Slice/Serious Eats screen name.
