"Years later, I remain dumbfounded at how good the first bite of pistachio pizza was that night in Phoenix. I recall that the famed Rosa is a tribute to a pie Mr. Bianco ate in Liguria, but one made with sesame seeds. I often make my own tribute to that pistachio pizza, but never attempted the pie of his inspiration. When someone absconded with my pistachios too late into the assembly of this pizza, the course was obvious: fresh cream, Parm-Regg, rosemary, sweet red onion, fresh sesame seeds, and smoked sea salt. Baked at 705° F for 4:30. Genius." Mattivore

"After doing an awesome BBQ Pulled Chicken pizza last week I realized that chili would most likely go awesomely on Pizza. So when making chili earlier this week, I made sure to save a good amount of the leftovers for pizza. NYish style dough topped with 6 in 1 tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, meaty turkey chili and a diced chili pepper for good measure." pnuge

"Tomatoes, red onion, fresh thyme, baked in a pie crust and garnished with basil. I thought about topping it with cheddar or mozzarella but felt it would be a distraction. The original recipe called for a cheddar crust. Sorry, I cheated on the crust but it was left over from a former tomato pie project. Part 2 next week. More pics here." amusebouche1

"Homemade sourdough made with Adirondack A.P. flour from DMC. Cold rise in fridge for 2 days, rounded on counter for two hours. 550 oven on stones about 6-7 minutes. Margherita on the left and, the right olive oil, garlic and aleppo topped with dry mozzarella, little blobs of ricotta, cherry tomatoes and basil from the garden. Center in the dish—SDS (secret dipping sauce) to drizzle over the pies and dunk the bones in. Miss Ellie gets her bones SDS free. Also, side shot of the crumb on the Margherita." dhorst

"Made a Buffalo Chicken Pizza on a 14" pizza stone. Grilled the chicken then added it to the buffalo infused red sauce. Whole wheat dough recipe mixed in a bread maker. Topped with mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses. Came out great!" —Ian and Colleen
