Beautiful Day for Pizza
Pizza Luca's Dean Medico says he tries to do at least three days a week selling to the public, often at farmers' markets like the one at the John Jay Homestead in Katonah, New York. Medico tries to fill the rest of his schedule with catered events.
Big Ol' Oven
Dean Medico and his friend Alex Barant built the oven on the Pizza Luca truck. To its left you can see side of the refrigerators, with dough boxes stacked atop.
Square and Pies
Don't have cash on hand? No worries. Like more and more food vendors, Pizza Luca accepts payment via Square (the little device plugged into the top of the iPhone).
Truth in Advertising
I sorta love this sign. It somehow seemed to fit the whole farm truck, farmstand thing going on.
The strip of sinks slides out from under the truck bed. The wood is mahogany, and the truck has brass trimming throughout.
