"Using the Fooproof Pan Pizza dough recipe with the NY Style Sauce, at 520ºF for 12 minutes, this pizza with locavore ingredients was the best yet. Yabbies are freshwater crayfish that are found in backwater creeks and dams in southern Australia. All you need is a friend with a dam and some cold beverages to while away the day whilst you catch your quarry. Other ingredients—cherry tomatoes, basil, onions were grown in my garden. Best pizza base and sauce so far!" Charliel7

I found this “odd” bruschetta recipe on line somewhere and thought it might make an “interesting” pizza. And I must admit, I even thought it would not be good. I was wrong, it was really good.  The walnut maple spread is sweet, the grapes sweet and tart, the cheese creamy with a mild sourness. More pics here amusebouche1.

"Another go around with the pan pizza, this time with much better results from cooking on the oven floor. Same basic square pan pizza dough, blended can tomatoes, and whole milk mozzarella. This time it is topped with salami, olives and red onions. Cooked for about 20 min at 550 on the floor of an electric oven. Now I just need to get a deeper pan for some crunchy cheese Detroit style action." Bloo

"This is the first pizza I've ever made. The dough was Kenji's pan pizza recipe; the sauce is based on his New York-style sauce, except I omitted the fresh basil as I didn't have any on hand, and I used dried herbes de provence. I topped it with some Brussels sprouts, green onion and canned sliced mushrooms, and sprinkled it with a parmesan and romano blend (only on half, that way my lactose-intolerant mom could try some). The dough didn't stretch out to the edges of the pan on its own like it was supposed to (due most likely to a lack of hydration through a mistake on my part), but other than that it went off without a hitch!" moo102m/user/profile/moo102">moo102

"Sending early as I am rained in ( and delighted it's not snow!). Intrigued by Kenji's use of pepper jack in last week's post, Quadruple Chili Threat, I had to give it a try. This dough is a combo of Caputo 00 and KA BF hydrated 59%, frozen, then 3 days in the fridge and 2 hr bench. Topped with Aleppo, San Marzano sauce spiked with Calabrians, paper-thin slices of pepper jack and smoked mozzarella, and hot capocollo. Baked on steel under broiler 4 minutes. The combination of the very different chiles gave this a unique taste that I want lots more of." Imwalkin

"Used Slices' Foolproof Pan Pizza dough as described on the web site, which, for the record, is awesome.  Dough, shallots, rosemary, salt, chicken sausage, ricotta cheese, mozzerella cheese, more shallots, Brussels sprouts, and more mozzeralla in a cast iron pan. 550º, 14 minutes in the oven and a minute or so on the stove for a crispy pan pizza crust." harrycaul
