"Located in the Beechview neighborhood of Pittsburgh (ironically there is neither a beach nor a decent view) is SLICE on Broadway, the creator of my best slice in April. The margherita pizza has sauce made exclusively of crushed San Marzano tomatoes, topped with fresh moz, and fresh basil. Pittsburgh's winter has been exceptionally long, and the fresh, bright taste of this pizza gave me hope that spring will be here soon." Alexwood

"Whenever I go visit my family and friends in Dallas, I HAVE to consume as much pizza from Il Cane Rosso as I possibly can over a long weekend. I have been known to visit 3 times over the course of 4 days (no shame). Pictured here is the "Zoli," which features il Cane Rosso's incredibly light and soft (VPN-certified) crust topped with italian tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, local Italian sausage, and hot soppressata. "Really nice pie at Trillium Haven in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Charred Kale. Lots of fresh kale, slivered garlic, herb oil, caper, house made fresh mozzarella, Sar Vecchio, and get it with the addition of smoked bacon. Crispy, puffy crust tender. Really great pie." —Joel W.
