Prosciutto and Sausage Pizza at Prima Margherita (Des Moines, WA)
Prosciutto and Sausage Pizza at Prima Margherita (Des Moines, WA)

"This beauty is from a new pizza place in Des Moines, Washington, just south of Seattle.  The restaurant, Prima Margherita, has only been open a couple of months, and boasts a wood-fired oven imported from Italy by the owner. They apparently know how to use it, as the crusts are superb. I don't know if it is actually Neopolitan pizza, but it is sold as individual pies, Neopolitan-style.  Pictured is a proscuitto and sausage pizza (I was having a meat craving)." —David

Detroit-Style Pepperoni Pizza at Buddy's (Auburn Hills, MI)
Detroit-Style Pepperoni Pizza at Buddy's (Auburn Hills, MI)

"Buddy's Detroit-style pizza is my favorite slice. The crust is thick and the cheese bubbles and crisps on the ends. The pepperoni is tucked beneath the cheese. They have 9 metro Detroit locations, but the one I go to is in Auburn Hills, MI." —Nicole

"This is the square old-fashioned pizza with roasted peppers from Adrienne's Pizza Bar in the Financial District of NYC. I've had tons of pizza all over and still think this is the best pizza out there!" —Brigitte

Plain Cheese Pie at Grotto Pizza (Rehoboth Beach, DE)
Plain Cheese Pie at Grotto Pizza (Rehoboth Beach, DE)

"Plain cheese pie at Grotto Pizza in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I've been having this pizza for as long as I can remember and for that time, every member of my family has burnt his or her mouth on the first bite because the anticipation is too much. I've lived in NYC for 6 years now and haven't tasted anything that hits all the high marks of this cheddar-mix pie." —Alexander

The Capricciosa at Fratelli La Bufala (NYC)
The Capricciosa at Fratelli La Bufala (NYC)

"The Capricciosa pizza from Fratelli La Bufala is amazing. I feel like I'm actually in Italy eating fresh pizza. The crust is nice and crisp and the cheese is just perfect. Also the fact that its made in a wood burning oven just made the taste better. Best pizza on the upper west side!" —Justine
