I really like planning. Having something to research, possibilities to pick between, lists of places to go, things to see and do, foods to try—it's been an obsessive, mom-ish habit of mine since I was a tiny little person thinking about dinner before I'd had breakfast. Whether you want to call it a to-do list or a wish list, I'm into it as long as it's a list; it's about having something to look forward to, for me.

Unsurprisingly, I have a constantly evolving compendium of food things (of pizza things) that I want own, or eat, or make—lately I've been itching to try making my own pies with a few more unusual cheeses, and visit some of the new pizzerias opening up.
