According to Pizza Hut's chief marketing officer, Brian Niccol, "The arrival of Stuffed Crust Pan Pizza is the biggest news to hit our Pan Pizza in nearly three decades... Papa John Gets Camaro Back; Chain Offers Free Pizza to Camaro Owners Today

[Credit: Jalopnik] In 1983 John Schnatter somewhat famously sold his 1971 1/2 Camaro Z28 to keep afloat his father's tavern, the family business that would become the springboard for the Papa John's pizza chain. This year, Schnatter and PJ's began capitalizing on that origin story by conducting a very public search for the car. The automobile blog Jalopnik helped reunite the pizza mogul and his wheels, and now, in celebration, the chain is offering free pizza to Camaro owners. Anyone who drives his or her Camaro to the nearest Papa John's today will get a large one-topping pie....

Trio Who Tracked Down Domino's Miscreants Gets Free Pizza for a Year

Advertising Age has the story of how the Consumerist-reading sleuths tracked down the two miscreants behind the Domino's Boogergate incident: Starting with a Jack in the Box sign visible from a window in the video, [Amy Wilson, a Georgetown University graduate student, and her boyfriend, Jonathan] Drake, who analyzes satellite images for a nonprofit, used that and other clues to assemble a street view and began to search Google satellite images for locations that matched. Then Paris Miller, a Northern Kentucky computer consultant, traced one of Ms. Hammonds' friends to Conover, N.C. There he was able to find a Domino's...

Dear Slice: 'If We Don't Take Care of the Customer, Somebody Else Will'

Clicking in to the Slice inbox last night, I found this great response to the Domino's debacle from Philip G., who comments here as Prairie. It's a great message and reminds me that I probably was a little harsh in my rant the other day. Take it away, Philip! —The Mgmt. Photographs courtesy of Philip G. Adam,It's been a long day. Like most days at the restaurant it was a 12+ hour, action packed, pizza filled day. I've been thinking a lot about the Domino's business. Internet-wide people have started to raise the torches to tear down big chain and...
