The Prestigious Collection from Domino's Japan

In the limited time collection of "Prestige" pizzas, topping combinations include: the snow crab and shrimp gratin with a "rich and luxurious" white sauce finished with truffles; Mangalitsa pork, known as Hungary's "edible national treasure", with asparagus and Bordeaux sauce; and fresh mozzarella with beef stew and broccoli. (Hmm. One of these seems less prestigious than the others.) But the best part is that they can all be combined in the Quattro Prestige.

Chain Reaction: Domino's Stuffed Cheesy Bread

I keep hearing that Domino's is much improved. Of course, I'm mostly hearing that from Domino's themselves in their somewhat desperate but endearing series of ads that can summarized as "We don't suck anymore, we swear!" I'm a sucker for cheese and redemption, so I set my skepticism aside and dipped my toe back into the Domino's end of the pizza pool with the new Stuffed Cheesy Bread.

Check Out Domino's New Pizza-Making Game for the iPad

Have you seen this yet? Domino's has created a game for the iPad that lets you build and cook pizzas. Some wags speculate that it's an elaborate job-training scheme, and you know ... maybe? LOL. I kid. But having visited Domino's HQ last year, I can tell you that the workflow in the game is remarkably realistic — even down to popping pizza bubbles in the crust (as see at 0:22).

Moon Pie: Domino's Pizza Japan

Slice was video-less this Saturday, and really, the choice of video should have been obvious! Domino's had just launched their "Moon Branch Project", the Domino's Japan way of celebrating their 25th anniversary. The website is complete with a video announcement from Domino's Japan CEO Scott Oelkers and it has all kinds of mock ups by engineers and cost projections. For a promotional site, it's pretty over the top. Check out the video that you should have seen on Saturday.

We received a few emails this morning from our buddy Ryan over at GrubGrade. Apparently, Domino's has a new pie in the works, which they're calling "artisan" style. What's it mean?
