How 'bout the weather lately, right? Not too hot, not too cold. Not humid. Perfect for pizza under the stars. Taking my own advice from earlier this year (9 NYC Pizzerias with Great Gardens), I made my way to Saraghina in Bed-Stuy to catch up on things.
Let's talk about the weather. Though it's still a bit chilly and rainy here in NYC, the trees at least are blooming, which means truly glorious days are on their way. We at Slice can't think of a better way to mark the season than with a roundup of our favorite NYC pizzerias with garden seating.
Time Out New York's got a nice year-end wrap of the 100 best things to eat in New York City. Pizza, of course, is on list. Three pizzas at three different pizzerias make the cut, according to TONY: the capocollo pizza at Bed-Stuy's Saraghina, the clam pie at Staten Island's Salvatore of Soho, and the Popeye pie at Co. Company....

Grub Street has a slideshow and says this: "It’s good news for those who like the Neapolitan-style pizza served at Luzzo’s in the East Village: Luzzo's owner gave the fledgling pizzaioli partners not only his blessing but his top-secret flour-mixture formula."
