Some Twitter Crap
A couple things about Twitter as regards this website... First Thing: New Twitter Box As eagle-eye readers may have noticed, we added a small box to the right over there that displays the latest tweet from the @Slice Twitter account. The Slice Twitter account functions in a few different ways:...New Links for Pizza Fiends

Sharp-eyed Slice readers may have noticed a new addition to the Slice main page. In the third position on the page now is a window that shows you the two latest pizza photos submitted to Serious Eats' photo-sharing site Photograzing. If you already have a Slice/Serious Eats account, you can use it to submit your pizza porn. Whether you're a pizza-blogger, recipe-blogger, or Flickr user, you can share your photos with the rest of us. Simply upload a photo and provide the link back to your blog post or Flickr image, and it'll show up here. If you don't have...Slice Twitter Intel Bot: @slicenyc
OK. I asked what you thought about turning @slice into a sort of pizza-intel-gathering source. Most people balked. So I took a suggestion from LikesToEatJunk and created a new account. @slicenyc will retweet anything tweeted at it. So if you're out and about and see a new pizzeria going in somewhere, just tweet something like this: "@slicenyc: New Famous Ray's opening on 27th & 6th" The @slicenyc account will then retweet that to all followers. I'm not sure how well this will work, but it might be a fun exercise in crowd-sourced pizza info gathering and dissemination....Thinking of Making Some Changes to Slice Twitter; Would Like Your Input
I know you're probably getting sick of me posting about Twitter the last couple of days, but bear with me. This one is warranted. —The Mgmt. Since I've been twittering as @slice, followers have seen the account go through a couple different phases. Phase One began as my own personal account, which made sense to me at the time—after all, there was little separation between the personal and the pizza in my world. For many of my friends, longtime readers, and Twitter followers, Slice and "Adam Kuban" were pretty much synonymous. But a few months ago, I realized that the...Liberate Me: Get Your Slice Stickers!

From left, recent pizza-related Photograzing submissions from Bitchin' Camero and Nick Solares. For years, Slice readers have been sending me snapshots of their slices or have emailed asking about ways to upload and share pix of their pizza. There was no easy way to do it. Until now. Serious Eats, which Slice has been a part of since 2007, just launched a new food-photo-sharing site last week called Photograzing. You may have missed it in the run up to the holiday weekend. No worries. Head on over and check it out. Users can upload their food photos from their...Introducing Photograzing
