Photo of the Day: UPN Posters

San Francisco Slice contributor David Kover spotted these posters for Una Pizza Napoletana in the Mission recently and noted that they have been popping up around town. Is Mangieri just reminding the citizens of San Francisco that there is pizza greatness happening in their city, or is there something more to these mystery posters? More

Photo of the Day: 'Customer Special'

[Photograph: Adam Kuban] In response to yesterday's Photo of the Day featuring the "Extra Cheese/ Sausage" detail from a pizza box, Tupper Cooks! asked, "What, no X-tra Pineapple???" You're welcome — and aloha! ;) And like yesterday, feel free to download the original to use as a desktop wallpaper: http://www.flickr.com/photos/slice/4706612953/sizes/o/... More

Photo of the Day: Guaranteed to Raise a Smile

Photo of the Day: Di Fara Through a Holga

[Photographs: Adam Kuban] I've recently dusted off my old Holga 120s camera. The Holga is a cheap, toy camera favored by hipsters, who prize it for its shoddy construction and craptacular lens, both of which lead to light leaks and chromatic aberration. I tried shooting photos of the actual pizza, but it was too dark inside to get any good shots. These shots are not any good, either. Related: Pizzeria Exterior Gallery [Flickr]... More
