Jeno Paulucci, Pizza Roll Inventor, Dies at 93

Jeno Paulucci, the man responsible for what are known today as Totino's Pizza Rolls, died on Thursday at home in Duluth, Minnesota, of renal and coronary failure, according to the New York Times obituary.

I took this at a Woodman's* last night. I had to do a double read. Um, 120 pizza rolls for $9.69? First, that's a dirt-cheap 8¢ each. Second — what the hell are you going to do with 120 pizza rolls?!? I don't know, but I kinda want to find out.

Saturday Night Live finally made the video available for "I Am Your Mother," the Jeno's Pizza Rolls commercial skit that aired on the April 11 episode. It stars Zac Efron, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, and Fred Armisen, and its premise is that they're all shooting a commercial for the pizza snack. While doing research for the previous post, I came across this crazy commercial for Jeno's Pizza Rolls: Taken out of context, one which I'm too young to have lived through originally, the commercial is completely insane and makes almost no sense.
