Happy My Pie Monday! The hits keep coming this week with some real innovation in the topping department. Take for example dhorst's faux cremini mushroom sausage seasoned with fennel and aleppo! And TXCraig1 took a chance on some cherry tomatoes in the smoker and met with great success. Get those two together and we could have some smoked faux cremini sausage. Speaking of smoky sausages, Tscarborough's hot dog topped WFO pie isn't too far off. Also from the WFO are noocs121's spicy sopressata and a chili oil toped Margherita. Deep dish pizza gets some more love this week with a pizza from Brando. Working with focaccia we have both livefreeorpie and dmcavanagh. Continuing the "epoxy" experiments with Jimmyg, Norma played around with adding iodine to her dough this week. Amusebouche1 translated classic bagel toppings onto his "Pizza with a Schmear" and Bierebeer made "The Ab Killer" live up to its name with a crust brush of bacon fat.
